We used DePalo quite a bit whilst staying in Monterey, everything from coffee, croissants, fruit and bolognese was served fresh and presented very well. Also every time service came with a smile.
We were SO lucky to stumble onto this place. Visited 5 times in a 3 day stay for breakfasts and takeout lunches for picnics elsewhere. Real Italian deli specialties and much more. Great bakery. Handmade sandwiches. Lots of wine. Not cheap, but treat yourself!...
This is a lovely market with everything you need for a picnic and more. We got sandwiches and the bread was very disappointing - very, soft and fluffy (sourdough!) or very hard (ciabatta). the salads were great.
Great shop for deli food, hotel needs, snacks and wine! I got some specialty soaps and hand cream for a gift and the wine selection was really fabulous
My husband and I stopped in for some snacks and wine. I was very impressed with the selections. The Garlic Shrimp in white wine sauce were my absolute favorite. I purchased them everyday of my vacation!
